Passed Intermediate examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of India in 1984, securing 2nd rank in Northern Region and 6th rank in all India. Was inducted as Associate members of the Institute after passing the Final Examination of the Institute in 1985, with 6th rank in Northern Region.

Did three years articles from M/s S.S. Kothari Mehta & Co., New Delhi, a firm of Chartered Accountants. During this period, independently conducted Management Audits, Internal Audits & Systems Audit of big manufacturing companies. Has been practicing as a Chartered Accountant since 1985.

Did Due Diligence assignments for acquisition of companies, conducted various Internal, Statutory audits, Ind As (IFRS) Audits of manufacturing, publishing, trading, information technology , and service/ consultancy companies, Stock Audits of big corporate for Banks
